Bratislava and then Vienna

Since we were in Bratislava just a few days ago, we will just self tour.  Up for breakfast.  Also, since the pictures will be the same, will post ship pictures.

This is the pool.  You can see the wind shields that were not braced properly when they fell down into the pool.   The pool is not deep. But it is possible to get in some exercise.

Most ships today have the large chess set.  Have yet to see anyone play the game.

Nice shade provided by these shields.  And then you can see the walking track.  When our cabin was on deck 2 we did not realize how noisy it can get if someone runs on the track.

When we pass under low bridges, the crew must lower all the stuff on the sun deck.  Even the side railings are lowered.

This is the area on the sun deck in the front of the wheel house.  This ship is like a split level.  Each deck has part upper and part lower.  The dining room is lower deck 1 and the reception is lower deck 2.

This is the reception desk.  As I said, it is lower deck 2.

The stairs and the glass elevator in the center atrium.  The stairs up to deck 3 cabins.

This is the entrance to the lounge.  The man is standing at the coffee machine.

The coffee machine only has regular coffee and hot water.  If you want decaf, it is instant.

The lounge area.  They have early breakfast, light lunch, tea, and late snacks in the center station.  And water and ice tea most all day with cookies that are home made.

This is the outside area in the front of the ship, lower deck 2.

Our cabin 312.  All cabins are basically the same except for floor space.

There are two chairs tucked into this area by the French Balcony.  Bob takes one and uses it at the desk.

Our balcony is not big but has two chairs and a small table.  Notice that another boat is tied to us.  So when this happens, you must keep you curtains closed and your balcony locked.

The bathroom is fine.  And the shower has a rain shower or the wand.  A great shower.

And finally, our bed.  Not much room on either side but we can make it.

We sat with Bob and Brenda at breakfast.  I had one eggs Benedict.

We returned to the cabin to get ready for the day.  We leave Bratislava at 12:30 and arrive in Vienna at around 8pm.  So will post this now and if anything exciting happens, will update.  But I am sure that this will be a quiet day.  Might try and get my hair cut.  Will see about that.
