Sea Day

Friday we were at sea.  We had lost an hour during the night, so we got up a little late.  We headed to La Veranda for a light breakfast and then back to the cabin.  Before we headed up, we checked the laundry and there was one empty washer.  We quickly loaded it and the ate.  When we got back, there was another empty washer, so we did a second load while the first load was still washing.  We went to the Coffee Connection while the cabin was being cleaned and then returned to check the laundry.  The second load was finished while the first load was still washing.  Put second in dryer and waited for the first load to finish.  After one and a half hours, the first wash was still washing, I stopped it and put it on spin only.  I think the washer is broken or at least the timer.  So with all this mess, I missed needlepoint in the morning.

Our neighbors visited the penguins yesterday, so I am including some of their pictures for Aiden.

The rest of the day was quiet.  Tonight was formal night and we decided not to dress up so headed to Horizons for a cocktail and met Jack and Norma so joined them.  They were eating in La Veranda which was where we were headed, so we joined them plus Alice and O'Neal.  It was French Bistro night.  Good food and great conversation.

Back to the cabin and reading then lights out.
