Sea Day/Fortaleza, Brazil

Today was a sea day until 7pm when we arrived in Fortaleza, Brazil.  So while we were still sailing, the pool water was rough.  But we did manage to get in our hour in the pool early.  Weather is fairly hot and humid.  We then had our usual breakfast on the aft deck.

The morning was pretty much the same as usual with needlepoint and then lecture.  Today was the NASA lecture on the space shuttle.  He is a good speaker.

After the lecture, there was a cooking demo.  I had to leave before I got to taste the shrimp.  But it might be a dish I try when we get home.  Sounded good.

Lunch in La Veranda and then back to the cabin for reading on the balcony.  Coffee Connection and then needlepoint, tea and trivia.  We did not win again but we did pretty good.  But as long as wee are having fun, that is all that matters to us.

We arrived here in Fortaleza about 6:30pm and are docked.  Dinner in Compass Rose and both Bob and I had the pasta dish.  And no dessert.

We returned to the cabin and tried to watch a movie but the TV is not quite right so will have someone look at it in the morning.  So we both read and then lights out.
