Sea Day

Well we are having very rough seas.  High winds. Pool closed.  Decks closed.  People holding on while walking the halls.   So Bob and I slept very well during the night.  And we slept in.  So a late breakfast in La Veranda.  And it was crowded as we were not the only ones sleeping in.

The weather is terrible.  High winds and rough seas.  One needs to hold on when walking for fear of falling.

Needlepoint in the morning where there were lots of new ladies.  And several of us are still here.  Returned to the cabin and continued working on the needlepoint.

Lunch at La Veranda where I only wanted soup but ended up having a Greek salad too.  Back to the cabin for our nap.

Needlepoint in the afternoon and then tea.  Back to the suite where we dressed and headed to Observation Lounge for cocktails.   We sat with Joan and David from the Cook Islands.  So the four of us decided to eat at Setti Mari.  We had a nice dinner and a great bottle of wine.

Back to the cabin to read and lights out.  The seas all night were rough.  Lots of people were complaining in the morning.  It has not bothered either Bob or myself.
