Hong Kong at Night and Day Two

After dinner we headed up to deck 12 to watch the laser show.  When you view this from the ship you cannot hear the music so it misses some of the fun.  So you just see the lasers going on and off.  Not so great.

We came back to the cabin and Bob set up his camera on the tripod and took some great pictures of Hong Kong at night.

We are docked on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong.  These pictures are of Hong Kong Island.  To get there you take the Star Ferry.  There is a tunnel that you can drive over there.

Lots of neon.  All these buildings are lit up every night.

And the ad for H&M changes.

After the pictures we turned in for the night.

In the morning we got up and had breakfast in La Veranda where we said goodbye to Routh.  He is going home today.  Routh played the role of Michael Jackson in the Crew Show.  He has a great personality.  I think I referred to him as Route in the past but today I got his name correct.

We did some work in the suite until 10am when we went into the mall here at the terminal.  We were looking for free wifi as they have closed our internet until this afternoon.  Stopped at Pacific Coffee where if you buy something you get 20 minutes of wifi.  So we got a coffee and an ice tea for me and I uploaded some pictures but it cuts you off after 20 minutes.

We then went shopping where I bought a pair of fit flops and Bob bought a new pair of sneakers.  Then we headed for the ATM to get some more Hong Kong dollars.  The exchange is $1 US is about 7.5 HK.

Then we headed to KFC for more internet time and lunch.

Back on the ship for a glass of welcoming champagne and then a nap.

There will be a muster drill this afternoon which we must attend.  And then we are having dinner with Marilyn and Bob and another couple in Prime 7.

Will post this now but Hong Kong Day one is still to come.  Maybe after my nap.  Till then.
