Palma de Mallorca, Spain

Wednesday we were docked in Palma de Mallorca.  Mallorca is the home island of Nadal.  But he lives on the other side from where we were.

Our shore excursion took us to Soller.  This is about one hour drive from Palma.  It is an older village with very narrow streets.   The buses are not allowed so we had to walk from the highway into the center of the village.

We visited the Cathedral and then stopped for a coffee and milkshake for me.  Not sure they understand the concept of decaf.  So to be safe, beer or milkshake is fine.

We shopped for a while and found they have Hello Kitty world wide.  Then headed to the train station where we took a scenic train ride to Son Reus where the bus met us to transport us back to the ship.

The train passes by olive groves all over the countryside and beautiful town and villages.  This is a beautiful island.  And we had wonderful weather.  Bright and sunny finally.

Back on the ship for dinner, martinis and bed.
