Brussels, Belgium

We are traveling to Brussels via train.  So I will complete this entry when we get to Brussels.  The train system in Europe is wonderful.  A great way to get from one country to the next.  You get to see the countryside which you would miss on a plane.

While we were entering Brussels, there seemed to be a problem and we sat on the tracks for about 15 minutes.  But we finally were able to get going again and came into the station just about 20 minutes late.  We gathered all our luggage and headed out to get a taxi to the hotel.

We checked into the hotel and unpacked some of our stuff and then took a nap.  I had not slept well the night before so did some catching up.  We then decided to take a walk and as we were leaving the hotel we bumped into Frank and Judy Castrina.  So we sat and talked with them and then headed into dinner when Cory and Ann Coll came down.  Cory and Ann had flown in from California and were super tired.

Dinner was with the entire group.  There are about 60 of us doing the pre cruise.  Dinner was okay but we did have lots of laughs and catching up with some great old friends.  For those who do not know, Bob, Frank and Cory went to high school together many years ago.  And then Frank and Cory were ushers in our wedding.  So we all go a way back.

After dinner we went back to the room and watched some TV.  Could not see the basketball game as it was on at 3 am our time.  Needed to wait until morning to find out who won.
