Bob's Walk in Enkhuizen

After Bob's nap he decided to take a walk into this little city.  The following are some of his pictures.

A typical street in Enkhuizen.  Most of the people in the Netherlands travel by bike.

They have wonderful cheese shops all over the country.

The Protestant Church was first a Catholic Church.  When the Protestants took it over, they removed all of the statues and most of the stained glass windows.

I think this is the town hall.  Always in the center of the town.

The town has a beautiful park.  Lots of ducks and pretty statues.

The spire of the church.

Beautiful daffodils here in the city.

Want to buy some shoes?

This is over the door of the church.  The motto is the same as Mt. St. Mary's.

The house on the right is a house boat.  We will see lots of them in Amsterdam.

The bikes are parked at the train station.

This is the train station.

Another view of the train station.

Another view of the Church.

Have a go at trying to read the sign.  They are nice enough to put this sign up so you know where you need to go.

The town has lots of shops.  The people in the Netherlands like to keep flowers in their windows.

I hope you enjoyed the tour of Enkhuizen.
