Montreal

We had breakfast in the hotel and watched it rain outside.  So we decided to do the hop on hop off but when we got to the bus stop, the first bus was completely filled.  There were two ships in port this day and lots of those folks wanted to do the hop on hop off.  And since it was raining, we decided to skip the bus and head back to the hotel.

So Bob read and I worked on the computer but ended up taking a nap.  As did Bob.  We got up and the sun was shining so we decided to head out for the bus.  This time was perfect as the bus was almost empty.  We took the bus around the city once more but this time the guide was great.  He told us things we did not know.  And the day was perfect.  Sunny and cool.

Back in the hotel we just hung out until it was time for the cocktail hour.  As we were sitting at the booth, Peggy and Jim came up and introduced themselves to us.  I met Peggy on cruise critic and they are also on the Navigator tomorrow.  So we sat with them until it was time for us to head to the restaurant for our dinner.  Tonight the meal was not so great.  Our chicken was dry and we were the only ones in the entire restaurant.  Oh well.  Two nights out of three not so bad.  Better luck next time.  But I will say, our waiter was terrific.

We walked back to the hotel and settled into our room for the night.  Tomorrow we board the ship.  The ship is sold out.  Last week we were offered a deal to cancel this one and do one next year.  But we are already booked next year.  So we are staying with this one.  Peggy and Jim were given this cruise because they cancelled the cruise before this one.

So until we are on the ship, talk to you then.
