We were docked in Rotterdam and spent the morning in Gouda. So the afternoon was free time. Bob took and nap and I decided to upload some pictures. Then when Bob woke up, he did a walk around the harbor and took some pictures.
Our ship docked in Rotterdam
The skyline of Rotterdam. The yellow cubes at the bottom of the picture are cube houses. They look like they are falling over.
One of two bridges here in Rotterdam.
In the afternoon you can go to the lounge and have coffee, tea, etc and cookies. I do not think they are made on the ship but I could be wrong. They look like Peppridge Farm to me. But we thought the flower arrangement was pretty.
We dressed for dinner and had our first martini in the lounge. Dinner was good. Back to cabin to read and lights out.
One of the things we love about cruising are the sea days. You do not get sea days on a river cruise so every day is a different port with lots of great things to see and do. Makes for early nights.
