In the afternoon, Bob took a walk into town while I stayed on the boat. These are some of his pictures. The above is the town square. It seems as if every city we visit has a town square.
This is the original gate to the city.
The exterior of St. Eusibius Church. The following pictures are of this church.
The spire of the church
This is not of the church. Just the top of some building.
The Church for a distance.
Church interior.
This plaque is inside the church.
The pulpit of the church
The interior and the pipes of the organ.
In honor of the troops. Unusual to see this sort of thing in a church.
I put these in so that you could read about this church and the effect the war had on the city and the church
Back on the ship, we decided to show you some of the interior. This is the lobby which is deck 3. Behind the stairs is the dining room and on deck 4 is the lounge.
The lobby on deck 4 is below. To get to the top deck, the stairs are outside.
The Captain manning the controls to get us going. There is a bridge house on the top deck but the controls for docking and undocking are on the edge. Thank goodness is was not raining.
Cory and Anne. It is a bit windy up on the top deck especially when we are sailing.
