Monday April 21st and we are docking in Goa, India. Several of the Indian crew will be getting off and a bunch of new crew will be arriving. Andrew, our favorite bar waiter, is getting off but he is coming back in June for only 6 months. That way he will be home for the holidays.
We swam for one hour before breakfast. Not sure why Bob feels the need to be the first one in the pool every morning but he is. The breakfast in La Veranda.
We arrived in Goa at around 8am. If you are leaving the ship you must go and collect your landing cards. We turned in our tour tickets as the tours have not been very good. And it is hot. So we are staying on the ship.
We went to coffee connection for our latte and when Bob left, I stayed to do some needlepoint and Ray and Elda came and sat with me while they drank their coffees. Then I headed back to the suite to continue to work on the needlepoint project.
Lunch in La Veranda and then nap time.
Needlepoint in the afternoon and this time I stayed for trivia. We got 12 and a half points and the winners got 13. So close.
Dressed for dinner and cocktails in Horizon Lounge. Compass Rose was not very busy. The day of the auction, a young man (14 years old) from England won a night as head waiter. Gami fitted him with a jacket and name tag. And he got to seat the people as they entered the dining room. And later Gami had him go around the room as speak with the people. He did very well.
Back to the suite to read and lights out.
